Prince Edward Provincial Nominee Program: Greater Number of Express Entry, Labour Impact and Business Impact Candidates Invited
The province of Prince Edward has now issued around 158 invitations under its Prince Edward Provincial Nominee Program in a single draw which makes the total number of Express Entry, Labour Impact and Business Impact invitation candidates in the year 2019 to around 1177.
The largest-ever draw conducted by Prince Edward Provincial Nominee Program was in 17th October, and the 158 invitations went to applicants who were eligible for the Express Entry, Labour Impact and Business Impact stream of the province.
The applicants who got the invitations through the stream can now apply for the Canadian Permanent Residency through Prince Edward Provincial Nominee Program. The famous Prince Edward Express Entry Category manages a pool of applicants who falls under Canada’ s most significant economic categories - Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class.
Applicants who get the Provincial Nominee Invitation will get an additional CRS score along with the current score and manages a guaranteed federal invitation in the next subsequent draw to apply for the Canadian Permanent Residency Visa.
To be eligible to get the PEI invitation, the applicant must create a separate Expression of Interest in PEI immigration website. Invitations are received based on the points the applicant received from various factors as per the guidelines of the province.

- Skilled Worker Stream(Prince Edward Provincial Nominee Program)
The skilled worker stream or the employer-driven programs allow an applicant who got an employment offer letter from an employer-based in prince Edward and if he/she meets the following criteria:
- The employer should provide a full-time employment offer letter in which the job title mentioned in the letter should fall under grades – “0”, “A” and “B” from the National Occupation Classification (NOC).
- The applicant should complete at least 14 years of formal education.
- Applicant should be aged between 21 and 55.
- Applicant should have 2 years of full-time experience in the last 5 years
- Applicant should meet the English language proficiency requirements to meet the needs of the employment.

- Critical Work Stream(Prince Edward Provincial Nominee Program)
The Critical Work Stream Immigration Program is sketched by the province to resolve Labour shortages by providing job offers to foreign workers who are actively living in Prince Edward, who falls under specific critical demand occupations. The primary benchmark to be eligible for Prince Edward Critical Work Stream is:

- Truck driver;
- Customer service representative;
- Labourer;
- Food & beverage server;
- Housekeeping attendant.
