Although the D2 Visa is less well-known in Portugal than the D7 Visa and the Golden Visa, it can nevertheless be a viable route to citizenship and permanent residency for people looking to work for themselves there.

There are a variety of paths to permanent residency in Portugal; flexible and modern approaches, suitable to the needs of applicants for residence and immigration to Europe via Portugal. The Portuguese entrepreneur visa is one of Portugal's appealing immigration policies (or the D2 visa)

D2 Visa Portugal Minimum Investment

You can be qualified for a Portugal D2 Visa if you're a businessperson, independent contractor, or other service provider from outside the EU, EEA, or Switzerland and you want to live in Portugal. You must provide evidence that you have either established a business functioning in Portuguese territory or that you have the financial means in Portugal to do so. By showing confirmation of a loan from a Portuguese bank, you can acquire these financial resources. There isn't a set sum you must have, although it's advised that you have at least €5,000.

You'll also need to demonstrate that you have the resources to support yourself. You, as the primary applicant, must possess 100% of the annual minimum wage of €8,460. You must increase this by 50% (or €4,230) for a spouse and by 30% (or €2,538) for a dependent kid. In order to qualify for the D2 visa, a couple with one child would therefore need to earn about €15,300 annually.
